Wow

Ok, so I haven't updated my page since May, so Lets see what's going on now.  Amanda had some surgery, and her body looks amazing now.  I can't keep my eyes off her sometimes.  She's caught me, and she finds it funny right now, hopefully she finds it funny a year or two from now hehe.  I have to mentally tell myself to look her in the eyes and pay attention to what's she saying, she's just so distracting.

In other news, Gavin is in K4 now, and he started off the year as a trouble maker.  Ended up going to principals office a good bit, or getting in trouble at class.  Amanda and I started to work with him on his problems, got very serious about it and he responded well.  He's gone over a week without getting into any trouble.  I'm really happy about that.

Kyla is learning more everyday, and I fight to keep her from wrapping me around her fingers. She's just so cute sometimes it's hard to be stern with her.  I put forth effort though, and try to  make sure I have an even hand between her and Gavin.

My GTO is doing good, put a new Transmission and Torque convertor in along with more boost.  Just added some drag bags and cut the fenderwells, and today I should get my new Mickey Thompson tires in the mail.  Hopefully I'll be going to the track soon.

Another day, another gordita.

Yes, I'm eating taco bell right now.  Why do we eat this food? Is it because it's fast and easy? Or is it because it really tastes good?   No, I don't believe in the internet fiary tales of bad grade meat, or other crazy stories of that nature. I've been to snopes.com and it has educated me in the devious lies of internet mail.

So, this past weekend, Amanda and I put up a large swingset for our children.  Well I should say, we pieced it back together.  It was previously assembled for another family, and it was then given to my wif'es grandmother.   So Gigi(wife's grandmother) goes to take the swingset apart with the help of her Husband(wife's grandfther), and ends up hurting herself.   She realized she didn't unbolt a board that was up pretty high.  So she climbed up on the mostly disassembled playset to undo the bolt, and the playset collapsed.  A darwin award could of been given out, but she pulled thru with nothing more then a seriously hurt ankle.

The playset is now in my backyard, several bolts/nuts missing.  Though, through the genius of my wife and her ability with building things, we've managed to get new hardware that will supplement the originals.  It's almost completely built, but were still short a bit of hardware, I think we will finish it next weekend.

Oh, also this weekend, we got into a discussion with my sister-in-law about Monster House being too scary for our three year old.  Her counterpoint is that "Spider-man" is scarier then Monster House.  I'd assume she was high, but she's pregnant and seems to be trying to do a good job of being a mother...so clearly she's not high, she's just insane.

A sad point is that I went to the dragstrip this past Friday, and on my second run, the transmission didn't shift correctly.   The video at the top is actually a video of the first run, where everything went fine and I ended up smoking a corvette.  It was nice.
